Review on Razer Tartarus Gaming Keypad Analog Optical Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Stanisaw Socha ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It has some flaws but the product is usable.

For 8+ thousand wooden ones, an extremely controversial decision turned out. For people who are looking for a convenient "stub" for games, I would recommend looking towards the A4 Tech X7-G100 for 990, or REDRAGON DITI on red switches. Pros: 1) EVERYTHING up to a single key can be programmed to suit your needs. 2) Quality materials. 2) Very nice leather stand. 3) Ergonomics of the position of the hand - at a height. The brush does not get tired during the day of work. 4) Good assembly: nothing backlash, no creaks, no falling off. 5) Clear, sensitive and at the same time very soft pressing (quiet, without clicks). For me, this was almost a key factor in choosing. 6) Everyone complains about the allegedly "useless" scroll, but just the same it is very useful and unloads with frequent scrolls. 7) the ability to customize keyboard shortcuts or macros on the keys. Some cons: : after 1 year of use. Minuses: 1. 2-3 buttons are constantly missing, + there are no function keys. 2. Need to adjust every time for every new game or program - 3. NO memory in the device itself. 4. Working through the application implies profiles, which for some reason sometimes fail and load not from a running application. Without setting this keypad, in principle, it is not convenient to use anywhere. 5. The setting is not to say that it is difficult, but upbeat. 6. Space (key 20) - after many years of experience on the keyboard, it takes a lot of effort to get used to. I got used to it for almost a month. 5) The function of "two degrees of pressing" - turned out to be practically useless for me. I sincerely tried to force myself to use it, but in the end I refused, since catching millimeters when pressed is NOT convenient for me personally.
