worked. But they definitely didn't think of that. On a soundbar that supports HDMI-ARC you would think they would put the ports in a position where you could plug in an HDMI cable. But no, even the one included is too big for the downward facing ports(?). As if they thought it would hang on the wall. However, there are more problems. The panel should use the logic of a portable speaker, as it will loudly announce which input it's set to when you change it. Every time I turn on the TV, my soundbar screams at me. Yes, I stopped using it pretty quickly. Maybe if you mount it on a wall with an always-on display (like a sports bar?) or a dedicated music source (again, always-on) you'll be fine? But I really don't like it that way. Stupid design choices, both hardware and software.
