I want to start a process that I hate and this is a replacement. In the past I've had to wait to return my old screen or place another order that was later returned after the screen was shipped to their facility. I had to order a replacement as my digitizer wasn't working; It turned out to be a large flexible cable. I didn't have to send the old digitizer back and the seller took care of me with no questions asked and no weeks of 'Have you tried this?' messages. Flexible cables are better than others. They're not as thin as other brands I've used in the past, which makes installing the home button cable a bit easier. For me, the screen was flush mounted, which was another first. Some of the ones I've used in the past are a little higher than I expected. You won't notice it that much because of the black bezel on the iPads I've repaired. Another important aspect is the screen used. I didn't see the dot matrix effect. It could be the digitizer or screen protector, but after using this device I haven't had any and you'll notice a difference in clarity right away. Next I want to close the home button. It's a bit stiffer than the others, but the screen seems to be flush. Other cheaper devices tend to drop in price a bit more than standard devices, which is why you feel more like a home button ring than usual. It wasn't like that. On-screen motion tracking is better than others, at least I think so. It doesn't lag at all from what I could tell and there are no dead zones. My kids who use iPads have not complained. Other devices will fret about dead zones or delayed response. For another $3-$10 to spend I'd recommend dropping this as cheaply as possible. I wish I had received this screen replacement in the past. I hope my review helps you as I have done numerous repairs for friends and family and this unit is the most hassle free I have ever dealt with.
