Review on Computer chair Bloody GC-740 gaming, upholstery: textile, color: gray by Janis Riekstins ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not at all what I expected.

Unfortunately, the limitation of 2022 characters in the shortcomings did not allow to describe all the revealed details, so I will continue here: 10) It is not always possible to adjust the back perfectly when the desired degree is set and the handle is released, the back seems to reach its closest possible state and only then is it fixed. 11) When the backrest is fully reclined (for a horizontal position of the body) and the chair is used in this position, the front wheels of the cross come off the floor, which feels completely unsafe and you don’t want to use the chair in this scenario anymore. In general, if you, like me, are picky about trifles, then I would not advise you to opt for this chair. Read all the shortcomings and decide if you are ready to put up with them if you get a chair of the same quality and configuration as me.

Pros
  • Perhaps only the appearance - perhaps that's why I put 2 stars, not one. According to the parameters, it fit perfectly for height 184cm and weight about 100kg
Cons
  • 1) The first flaws came out already at the stage of opening the delivered chair, most of the parts were just lying around in the box, including half of the parts were not packed and were not protected from mechanical damage from each other during transportation 2) I don't know if this comes from the first point, but the paint comes off the crosspiece right out of the box. Some will consider this a trifle, but this should not be. For example, with bright backlighting, this attracts attention. See photo. 3) One of the comments here indicates that the gas lift of this chair is class 4, in fact it is class 3, I am attaching a photo. Accordingly, the question arises whether the chair really has a margin of safety to withstand 150 kg. With my weight around 100, the chair sags noticeably down in its highest position. 4) The biggest drawback is the worn seat of the chair in a conspicuous place. Moreover, I am almost sure that this was allowed right at the factory, since the places into which the screws should be screwed are simply burned through, and apparently not the most accurate assembler came across for my chair. See photo (attached an example of a burn for a screw and a photo of a burn on a harness 5) The entire tubular metal frame is wrapped inside with some kind of foam material, which is similar to the usual thermal insulation, which is used, for example, for water supply pipes (anti-fogging). Moreover, this material makes an unpleasant rustling sound (as if there are plastic bags inside), unfortunately, I could not attach a video here 6) The armrests, although they are adjustable in 4 planes, play very much vertically and horizontally 7) This item is purely subjective, perhaps I could not figure it out myself, but I could not use the swing adjustment function. I repeat, perhaps this is not a flaw, but my inability 8) When I sit on a chair, it always feels like it leans a little forward. 9) The backrest adjustment knob is terrible - firstly, you need to apply a lot of effort to it, and secondly, it makes a VERY loud noise. Continued in the comments.
