Best for a wood or metal chair seat.

We bought counter-height chairs with our dining set about 2 years ago, and the padded seats were part of the design. When the padding broke down, I bought these pads to help that. It's a struggle to sit on the chair and keep the pad in place. The extra padding is welcome, it just might be better with a tie-down at each corner. These could work great with a regular chair with no upholstery or padding.
