Installing the camera is extremely easy. Step 1: Connect it. Windows 10 will automatically detect it and install whatever it needs. Ready. The camera works in 1080 (HD) resolution at 30 frames per second. Colors are a bit washed out - this isn't a professional webcam, but that's to be expected at this price point. It has a decent low-light auto mode, although the picture gets grainy if you use it without enough light. The 1/4" threaded mount (standard) worked with the table tripod I had, but the included mount worked. My thin bezel monitor is fine too. The built-in mic works fine, but not exceptional. For what it is - a standard webcam, it works without fuss and meets all expectations The inclusion of a threaded mount option is a good thing and you won't see it on every webcam at this price point.
