I was very pleased with this and think it is a fairly good buy. It comes in sections and I initially thought it might weaken the flag pole, but it was surprisingly sturdy. I mounted this and used old holes from a previous flag installation on the two upper screws. This proved to be a mistake due to several factors. After installing it, the very next day the weather decided to test its strength so it rained with 50 mph winds which saturated the flag, making it weigh more, and with the high winds the two screws at the top came out causing it to partially detach. I think the mountng screws could be a bigger size and this would help, however, to be fair, I have not yet re-installed it and 50 mph winds do not come all that often around here. I suspect it will hold stronger if I do not use the old holes. Recommended.
