I used these a few years ago and gave up because of the price. The price that Revain is offering makes it affordable again. The gel pads stay on the edge of the toilet for quite a while and do their job quite amazingly. They give off a clean scent when the toilet is flushed. Nothing intrusive or uncomfortable. Just a refreshing clean scent. My house is often empty for three or four days in a row, and I tend to end up putting a ring around the lines so they don't get in the way. But they increase the time between cleanings. An advice. Before putting the gel pad in the toilet, flush it and make sure there are no stains on the side where water cannot penetrate. Some toilets do. Place the disc where the water drains into the bowl to allow it to work its magic. The presence of two dispensers is also practical. That way, when it comes time to reapply, you don't have to trudge down the hall to another bathroom to pick it up.
