Review on 🔍 Mirro 92508 Pressure Cooker Gasket 8-Quart for Model 92180 and 92180A - White Replacement Seal by Michelle Dreger

I bought an old (albeit new) Wear-Ever (Mirro) pressure cooker at a garage sale for $10 and was happy to use it. Initially, I was able to get it to pressurize after a few minutes of steam escaping. I've never had a pressure cooker and found it ok. Then I couldn't increase the pressure at all. I contacted Mirro and after giving them the model number. I was advised which pad to take. The product arrived quickly and I was delighted. At first I thought the spacer was too big as it *almost* crumpled when installed. Only then did I realize that my old bandage was soft and cuddly, but had shrunk a lot. Doesn't matter! The plate held pressure in no time and was so easy to hold under pressure. I wish I had done this a few months ago! I can't explain the negative review for this product, I'm very happy with it. The only suggestion is to contact your PC manufacturer and get the exact part number. Replacement seal before order.
