Keeps an old door open

We had a door in our kitchen that kept closing and we used an old blue glass telephone pole insulator to keep it open. Very strange as we live in a log cabin but I'm tired of kicking the insulator in the dark at night when I go to the kitchen. I decided to "upgrade" and bought this gadget. I wish I had done this 10 years ago lol! Keeps the old door in place and no longer kicks the old glass insulator on the floor in the dark to scare the cat!
