Review on 👞 Varsity Uniform Oxfords for Toddler Boys - School Issue Shoes by Alonzo Wilkins

Since it is not clear from the product name that these shoes are only for girls and when sizing we took M and W to indicate male or female (boys or girls) instead of medium and wide sizes, my new fiancee and I bought one Pair for her young son/step son to wear to our wedding when we couldn't find matching saddle shoes to match mine in local department stores. We were deeply disappointed (an understatement) to find, far from home and on the eve of an important day, that he was unable to wear them due to a mistake. He was in sneakers, so to speak, or in sneakers. We could only drag him out of the room without dress shoes, he was so upset. When we looked at the product page after the wedding and found out how it came about, he told me he wanted to burn the shoes, he was so disgusted. We left them in our room and I hope they eventually find a girl to wear and enjoy them. Yes, the detailed product description further down the product page (behind the scenes under other information and a range of related products) indicates that the shoes are intended for girls. So we can say it was our fault. But we never saw the details and didn't feel the need to look for them as all the information we felt we needed appeared at the top of the page and on the sizing and ordering screens. I'm hoping that the nice folks at School Issue Footwear, who don't seem to want to mislead anyone, will change the name of the product to make it clear that this shoe is designed and sized for girls only so other parents don't feel the same Art. Disappointed. If so, I'll be happy to revise this review.
