Important for every kit!
When you're recording a live performance, this is a valuable piece of equipment. I use Panasonic broadcast cameras and use these splitters to send channels from audio cards to both channels on the back of the camera. Another use for this could be splitting an audio stream that either needs to go to multiple sources. This is so useful because it allows me to stream audio to multiple devices, making it easy to ensure consistent audio. I recommend everyone to have one just in case!
