🌍 Earth Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults by Ravensburger Review

My boyfriend and I spent 6 hours and 30 minutes (not directly) and we didn't use the numbers on the back (we believe that using numbers or moving in order to complete the puzzles is pointless, lacks complexity/fun). We are geographically adept and enjoy challenging tasks. Our first 3D puzzle game and we were impressed with the quality.

We were incredibly disappointed to find this puzzle came with no parts. To make matters worse, we received no answer from Ravensburger, not even a confirmation of our request. Up to this point, Ravensburger has been our main brand for puzzles, but now we're going to look at other options.

Parts printed incorrectly and the card does not fit. It has many white lines on about half of the globe. I like the high quality plastic parts and they were easy to put together with the numbers on the back of each part. I am very disappointed with the pressure. We wanted to use this for our home school. Had it printed correctly, it would have gotten 5 stars.

Although my son likes the finished product it turned out to be more of sort and count than a puzzle. It must be collected sequentially. Not a tedious task, but you build it line by line, not geo by geo. He likes it now that it's assembled, but it wasn't what we expected. Also the included metal stand that tries to act like a real globe stand is terrible and falls apart easily. Don't put all your work into this puzzle and then destroy it when the stand breaks!

I have bought jigsaw puzzles like this before, including from this company. However, this particular puzzle has problems with printing on puzzle pieces. Across East Asia, all puzzle pieces have white marks on the pieces, as if other puzzle pieces are blocking the seal. I tried to contact Ravensburger directly through their website but after 7 days nobody answered me. I collect a lot of jigsaw puzzles, but this was the first 3D jigsaw puzzle I've ever made. It turned out to be easier than I expected, taking about 3-4 hours in total. But it was still a lot of fun. I started by putting the pieces on trays and sorting them by number in groups of 100. I bought this as a Christmas present for a young child but once finished I found that a magnifying glass was needed to read most of it. Pros: A great educational toy for learning geography. The puzzle pieces are made of hard plastic, not cardboard, so they are fairly durable. Each piece is numbered to make assembling fun for little ones who could do it much quicker than traditional no-numbers. Cons: The globe is smaller than expected and the lettering is TOO small. I've made 3D puzzles before and this one is a MAJOR update. And here's why: It's made of thick, hard plastic. I just made the ones out of thick cardboard with mesh edges. However this one is excellent quality, thick and hard plastic, easy to assemble as each part has a number and an arrow. This puzzle ball led me down a dark path. It all started. Now I have 6 puzzle balls, 1 pyramid, 1 vase and 1 glass. And another ball and pyramid on the way. I think my original Ravensburger globe is still my favorite (could be replaced with an antique Ravensburger globe on the way from ebay).
