1. This is NOT HM-10.2. It absolutely will not pair with a phone without using dedicated apps that connect to BLE devices. without mating. In other words, if I may say so. I found a way to get AT commands, for some reason I only had to do it the very first time. Power on the Arduino with the AT09 attached after flashing a simple serial code (I'll upload a screenshot if you need it). Then, with the Arduino powered on, disconnect and then reconnect the rx and tx pins on the module. It did for me. This is odd to me as I used my phone to communicate bi-directionally with the Arduino so I know the connections were good. After that, I didn't have to disable contacts anymore. It works well with RemoteXY settings as this app can connect to BLE devices. The list of AT commands changes depending on which role is activated, I've posted the available commands
