Excellent mid-range board for the money.

I bought this motherboard for an upgrade (upgraded from ASRock e3 and OCed i5-2750k) on Black Friday, but only got around to installing new hardware a few weeks ago. I have to say that I am very satisfied with this product. I'd say it's probably your best bet for a 390 chipset motherboard if you don't want to spend more than $150. Quality components, good slot placement, good features and supports 9th Gen Intel chips if you decide to upgrade later (a BIOS update may be required). Also, everything worked great on the first boot, I had no problem getting my new hardware components to work with the specified values. A big plus for usability: the board immediately recognized the clock and time in my Corsair Vengeance memory and changed it to 3000MHz as soon as I enabled the memory overclocking feature. I haven't had any crashes or memory errors after more than 50 hours of gameplay, so the automatic settings seem rock solid. Note that if you want to use this feature and have the board automatically detect and change timings on non-PC2400 memory, be sure to purchase the supported memory chips listed on the Gigabyte website. a high level of control over everything from voltages to timings, independent FSB clocks and many overclocking-friendly features. Similarly, Gigabyte's utilities are very useful for tweaking overclock settings without having to perform a hard reset. My only complaint in this department comes from the ASRock board, which doesn't have an AXTU-style monitoring app and you have to download a third-party app like CPUID or similar, but that's a relatively minor complaint. I highly recommend this board. at the moment. Very good quality and features for a board with z390 chipset under 150€.
