It does what it says on the tin! My work and water at home dropped from 7.0 to 9.0. Be sure to follow the instructions and first keep the cartridge under water for a few minutes and then fill and empty 3 times before using. If you let the water sink too low while drinking, refill it until it rises above the bottom of the cartridge. My only wish is that this jar comes with test drops so everyone can see how it works. I already had test drops from other alkaline products I had purchased so I could test (see attached photo). I will say that this is the most practical product I have bought for alkaline water and it is a good price. I am happy with this purchase.
