Could be a good radio. . .
But the sound quality, especially the voice, was poor. It may have been AM reception, but it seemed a bit washed out or muffled. Since there are no tone controls, stick with what you have. I mainly listen to AM talk radio and have found that I can't hear much beyond six feet. The FM side sounded stronger with better music resolution. For the price I think this is a good FM radio background music machine.
