The extra small size is too big for my 4 lb Pomeranian but he hasn't finished growing so I have a feeling it will fit him perfectly, when he grows up. I had to take the threads off so he wouldn't chew them. I originally bought this sweatshirt to take him to the beach but the wind kept pulling the hood over his head and he couldn't see. I will definitely be ordering more items from this company as they are very soft and the quality is amazing. Oso didn't seem to mind wearing a sweatshirt until it was time to play in the sand! Then it had to be removed so he could fully enjoy his beach adventure. I will also add a hole in the back for his seat belt. There is a hole in the collar but as he is a Pomeranian I cannot hook the leash onto his collar for fear of collapsing the windpipe. He looked so charming and he attracted so many heads. All the girls loved my little man and so many people wanted to take him home! Even the men wanted to keep him! I think mom should watch it very closely as everyone wanted to keep it to themselves even before that adorable sweater came out. Luckily my little man only looks at his mama and wants to be back in her arms as soon as a stranger's love gets too strong. As long as you measure your pup, sizing seems very accurate. Feel free to order from this company. The clothes they make are worth every penny. Sorry for the photo, Oso kept squirming trying to get to the strings. If you have a calmer dog, they shouldn't be a problem, even if you have to roll them up. I tried, but Oso made sure to get those lines one way or another.
