Whitmor Reversible Ironing Board Cover Irons & Steamers Review

No stretch. You'd think it would fit a standard ironing board, but it doesn't and it doesn't stretch. However, its thickness is amazing.

Seems good at first. After the first use, I noticed that the blue color from the inside penetrated all the outer parts and discolored my white clothes. I wish I knew.

It's reversible. dark blue on one side and light brown with white stripes on the other. The first time I used it and the steam from the iron made the navy bleed and covered the whole shirt I was ironing! Totally dissatisfied with this product!

I washed it first because I saw that some of them had problems with colors. It came out very well. It fits perfectly in my current board. I left the old seal. Looks great and I am happy with my purchase. I iron at least, but the person who comes home to iron for me loves it.

I had an issue with this center bunching of the envelope resulting in the creases not flattening out. It feels like there is a thick inner layer between the outer coating and this seems to be causing these creases in the coating. Maybe the problem is that it doesn't fit well on my ironing board, but that's why the cover isn't very comfortable to iron because it's not flat.

We thought it was a great product and returned it in December 2016 My husband was ironing a white shirt and noticed a bruise on it spread further. When I removed the ironing cover, the entire blue bottom was wet, leaving a bruise that wouldn't come out of his white shirt. Very frustrating!

Be careful with this cover when using a steam iron or ironing multiple items of clothing at the same time. If the blue cloth under the case gets too wet, the ink will seep through the case. Luckily I was able to identify the problem immediately and after a few washes the shirt was saved. Washing the cover did not remove the stains from the outer cover. Other than that caveat, it seems to work fine.

Today I give a lot of good reviews. It came in a nice sturdy box and arrived in perfect condition. About as pretty as most ironing board covers (for me) :) My ironing board is a small Amish board so it's a loose fit, but I love that it has elastic all the way around and has a nice long velcro strap for your belt. it's about in the middle. I recommend this brand more than most others I've bought that are so unreliable. It's pretty good quality. I wish someone would suggest something really cool…

I loved this cover as long as the striped side was up. It fit well and looked good in my laundry room. However, it discolors easily and burns easily, so I had to turn it over so the solid blue side was up. The last piece in my ironing mountain were white pants. My aerosol strength and steam from the iron left a few wet spots on the cover. As I rotated one of the legs to the other side via the press, I saw that the paint had spread from the cover onto my white pants. Completely unacceptable. I…
