It's a very bright light with a really good beam pattern, you can see everything, it makes a standard halogen light look like a candle but there's no point in a cord Plug it in. It says it's a replacement for a Harley flashlight, but my Harley has a cord that plugs directly into the flashlight. So with this flashlight you have too much cable to fit in the case, it's difficult to push it all in. and I'm pretty sure the cable is pinched inside so I don't know how long it takes for the wire's insulation to shear off, the connector doesn't fit either, I had to use tape to hold it together. If they got rid of the cord it would be perfect.
