At first sight the size is very disappointing since it will replace a much larger ceiling light and will probably be much dimmer.Next, the installation bar leaves doubt as to the ability to make a flush mount or even a slightly recessed mount by about 1/2 inch for a clean appearance. This thing might have cost the Chi-Coms all of about $1.50 to make so is not worth the price paid for it. The picture fooled me when shopping for a new fixture since there was no size listed and assumed it to be similar to the old one. I Will wait until installed for final decision on keepsies but anticipate returning what I think is ‘new’ junk funk. Well, that’s what I get for not buyingAmerican manufacturedgoods!.
