When I saw the picture of this ZLYC knit beanie on the product page, I knew I needed it. The hat looks warm and the design is very sexy. But I didn't really appreciate it until I got it. The beanie fits my head perfectly and looks just as beautiful and sexy as I thought it would. But where fashion ends, practicality begins. How does it stack up as a way to keep your head warm? This is a real exam. Well I'm happy to report that the design of this hat tells me it will keep my head warm. I live in downtown New York. The winters I live in are cold and very snowy and the wind makes it seem even colder than it really is. Inside the cap liner, right where it meets the forehead, is a strip of very soft and thick material called the "fleece hem" on the product page. This fringe is key to keeping the cold out and keeping your head warm. At the time of writing this article, it's still too early for me to try it in the bitter cold. However, I notice from the feel of the material and how tight it fits my head that this beanie is nice and warm when I need it. And the extremely affordable price quoted on the product page is another plus. Given the high quality and warmth of this hat, I really expect it to sell for around 50% more than the advertised price. I am happy to recommend this hat and give it five stars.
