I first bought this item in black a few months ago when my daughter was touring furniture. It was so nerve wracking watching them wiggle around the sharp corners and edges of my TV stand and coffee table. I bought the Bow-Tiger Edge Guard based on the great reviews and I am very happy with the product and customer service. She hit her head several times on the edge of the guard and all was well with her! I will say that sometimes she grabs the edge and tries to rip it off. It's a bit loose, but I think it's an unavoidable problem. To make the edge protector removable when you no longer need it, the tape must be non-permanent. So yes, if your child stands there and pulls on it for a while, it will come off. It doesn't happen right away, so I can get her to stop before she tears it off. The customer service at Bow-Tiger is fantastic. They were very nice and helped me a lot to make sure I installed Edge Guard correctly to get the most out of it. The best customer service I've dealt with in a long time. Good product!
