Bought for a first grader as a pencil case/stationery. It holds pencils and scissors well, but isn't big enough for 24 packs of crayons. The zipper is difficult to open and close. Inner material on the corners prevents the zipper from rounding the corner. My second grader couldn't open or close it and was disappointed with the product. It's better for a teenager.
