Worth the extra money
It was worth the money! I've used it on glued fabric and it cuts so beautifully. I made sure to use the custom settings on my self-adhesive fabric Cricut to get the best fit. A few helpful tips: Make sure the fabric is snug against the cutting board or the fabric will get caught on the blade. I spotted this with the first piece I cut out, but once it was securely in place I had no problems.
