I took a picture of our heaviest shoes, men's 10.5 (orange and grey) and women's 11 (nikes) to show how well they fit. No problem putting them in pockets and they won't fall out. There is a small gap where the hooks are larger than the door, but we had no issues with the door swaying/swinging, sliding or scratching. We've had this on our laundry door for about 2 weeks, which opens and closes regularly but not multiple times a day. Overall VERY happy with it. Happier than I expected lol. Putting shoes in bags is a lot easier than I thought, so that's not stopping us from putting them away! Highly recommended.
