Good tool for the audio engineer
If you're an audio engineer like me, you really can't have too many adapters, cables and other gadgets to get the job done. This is one of those devices that you will probably need someday. I currently use it on a piano mic I have installed and I can close the lid instead of using a "short stick". This somewhat reduces the sound coming directly from the piano and allows me more control over its volume.
