Used this starter on a 1969 440 as a mini starter.
Starter works and fits great. Had to remove a small 12 volt adapter to fit my 440. Got my 12 volt line connected directly to the starter motor. Fits much better than the original starter as it is much smaller. Probably half the weight, but the engine starts better.
