The design is well done, with some caveats. Basically rubber/plastic welder goggles with the addition of the pipe clamp and additional lenses. The additional adjustable glass lenses really add some distinction to the googles. The head strap holds the goggles on well, but is modern elastic with a blue thread pattern through it. The strap design and look works against the rest of the steampunk theme, but we just positioned the goggles on the costume in a way that partially concealed the strap. The clamps holding the glass lenses on are pretty fragile and came apart after the 3rd use. They are impossible to put back together.
