These cushions are softer than expected. I used to buy Home Depot gel bumpers and thought they were very similar. They are very soft, almost too soft. If you squeeze your finger and thumb together firmly, you could crush yourself. They are very sticky and will work. As I peeled each off the panel I had to pinch from the sides otherwise the oil from my hand would stick to the glue and the bumper wouldn't hold up well. When peeling off the film, be careful not to touch the backing of the adhesive. I've only had them for a few weeks and they work perfectly.
