I recently tried out Simbra's Field Hockey Practice Balls, and while they have some strong qualities, they also have some drawbacks. First off, the official size and weight make them great for stickhandling and shooting practice, both indoors and outdoors. The super smooth design of the balls also made for smoother gameplay. However, I wasn't entirely sold on the "smart speed" design - I didn't find it to be significantly smarter or faster than other practice balls I've used in the past. Additionally, while the balls held up well during training sessions, they seemed to scuff and wear down relatively quickly. Overall, I think the Simbra Field Hockey Practice Balls are a good option, but not necessarily the best on the market.
