Great purchase. I've been wearing Thorogood work boots for some years now. I've had the traditional round and moc toe in safety toe and soft toe and this is the first time ordering this style. I needed a good boot that would keep my feet warm and dry as I currently have a job where I work in the outside elements. I know thorogood brand boots wouldn't let me down, and this style with 800 grams of insulation went above and beyond in keeping my feet dry and warm in these cold and sometimes wet midwest nights. Also they fit roomy with regular socks just like my previous thorogood boots, i wear a 9 EE (W) and with thick socks they fit perfect so i have to confirm that this style runs true to size. I once tried a regular 9 in a previous thorogood round toe work boot and the boot pinched the sides of my foot, they were too snug and that was with a regular sock. That's why i go with the 9 EE (W). Highly recommend this style from Thorogood boots if you need a great warm and water repellent boot for work or for recreation. Plus after searching online for a insulated boot, this style and brand from Thorogood was the only one that provided 800 grams of insulation.
