No 4k at 60Hz

The main reason I got this was to get 4k at 60, but this adapter didn't give me that output. To be clear I'm pretty sure both my graphics card and monitor will handle it as the mini display port to display the cable on the same computer + monitor gives me 4k@60 and another laptop on same monitor me 4k @ 60 delivers HDMI.
