Very good sound and compact size make this a good value model. The satellite dish is attached to the back of the device and can be lifted without removing it. The antenna has about 20 feet of wire if you need to string it from the outside. I bought another antenna (about $11) to keep the one that was on the unit. The power button turns on the sound system and turns on the XM radio at the same time. There is also an aux. Input for connecting an MP3 player. I am very satisfied with this device. I might buy another antenna so my wife can put it in the kitchen without moving the outside antenna. It also works well with 8C batteries.
