I like it so far. Well built (durable), attractive design, the XM antenna cable stores neatly inside, but there is no room for an additional power supply and cables. Having this "boombox" really boosts my XM radio. Makes the XM truly portable. It has a smooth sound, but the only reason I gave it a 1 (rather than 5) is the lack of tone controls (at least on the XM Onyx) and the overall sound could use higher frequencies. Very good sound and compact size make this a good value model. The satellite dish is attached to the back of the device and can be lifted without removing it. The antenna has about 20 feet of wire if you need to string it from the outside. I bought another antenna (about $11) to keep the one that was on the unit. I have owned this XM dock for a few years. This is a bulky speaker. Although it has a handle, it's not as portable as I think. Keep in mind that you will have to move the antenna and power cord along with the box itself. Therefore, this apparatus rarely moved. The right speaker made a flapping noise. It's so annoying that I can't listen to XM/Sirius radio on this system. In my opinion this product is too expensive to go bad after a few years. I am not impressed with the quality of this product.

Based on the reviews I read I was expecting a great sounding ghetto blaster but to my great surprise I got a GREAT sound. I had no idea my XM radio had bass and treble controls until I connected it to an Audiovox XMBB1 system and when you press the volume buttons you will see a number from 0 to 30 to adjust. Great item that works perfectly with the Sirius/XM Onyx (not entirely clear from the product description) and there are several stand options that come with the system. The sound quality is good and the volume can be adjusted with the remote control, but you have to go into the menu to do this. I have read reviews on these points and you must understand that the antenna must be positioned so that there is a direct view of the southern sky. get signal!
