It's a flagpole. You put it together and it flies your flag nicely.Of course, the instructions tell you to just plant the PVC sleeve in the ground but I didn't think that'd be secure enough so I mixed a bag of concrete in a spackle bucket with the PVC sleeve in the center of the bucket and dropped the whole bucket in the ground to give the flag pole extra weight and sturdiness to insure that the winds won't eventually blow the whole thing over. It's flying in the wind in a snowstorm right now!
