Good, but tone and pitch issues

First, I have to acknowledge that my Viewsonic isn't exactly the same model, it's the VX2035 that preceded it. But it looks like the stuck pixel issue has happened to more than one reviewer. Thanks to one of them for mentioning using jscreenfix to fix this issue. I had a center pixel glued right out of the box. In addition, the built-in speakers are very inadequate. Having always had great sounding satellite speakers this was a real disappointment. Especially since there are no connections for satellite speakers on the monitor. If you want to add them, they must be connected directly to the computer. I will say this for ViewSonic. They have pretty good customer support via online chat. So many computer and software companies fail in this very important area. It means a lot in my book. Something else. The wide screen gives the picture a slightly stretched image. If you want it to get bigger in real scale, your display will shrink significantly. That goes for all widescreens, I'm sure. And something else. Do you wear downward magnification glasses? I had to take the monitor off the stand to place it directly on the table so my neck wouldn't hurt all the time when I tilted my head back to look at the screen through my reading glasses. And even now I still have to tilt my chin. For a user over 40 with presbyopia, the screens really need to be in a lower position than being tall and then on a stand. Someone needs to start designing computer tables that allow monitors to be mounted on a lower platform. That's Ergonomics 101. Good. I'm done. I don't blame ViewSonic for that. They make a good monitor.
