I needed a touchscreen monitor to use with a Chromebox in a preschool. Thankfully, this is the monitor that got the most bang for your buck, and it's clearly supported by ChromeOS. Setup was easy. I love this monitor. Clear and bright, the colors suit me. Works out of the box, no driver installed, touchscreen works fine. (Windows 10 Pro) My only complaint is the ridiculous kickstand. My biggest gripe is the glossy screen. Like laptop displays, monitors come with glossy rather than matte screens. A glossy screen can make dark areas of the image appear deeper and less blurry in bright ambient light. However, it can also reflect light objects in space like a mirror. I can't use this monitor after sunset without a headache because of the glare from the lamp behind me and/or my overhead light that makes it very difficult to see what I'm doing. The device worked for a while, then the screen turned gray. I would not recommend buying a Planar screen. zero help. The touch screen never worked properly. Refund or refund not possible, taken to Best Buy for recycling. Will never buy a Planar product again.

As a monitor it is ok. Touchscreen performance leaves a lot to be desired at best. anything other than a very strong and forceful smack of a finger or other hard object will register. You mainly use a mouse as the touch function doesn't work

I didn't know what to expect from previous reviews but I took a chance. Great color resolution and worked flawlessly with a Windows 7 PC. I use it in our professional photo booth and have had no problems. Great quality and great price.

Apparently, Planar specializes in touch monitors. but they are not whole. You have to sort of "wake up" the touchscreen by holding your finger for about 1.5 seconds to wake it up. Annoying. No big deal I thought, simple solution with a driver configurable for this function. Zero. Nilch. Traded it in to HP for another $50 and it works great.

I ordered my 24 inch planar touchscreen monitor and it arrived ahead of schedule and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and ease of setup to work with my desktop. I recommend this item to everyone.

Unfortunately, this isn't the best touchscreen. Sometimes loses connection and you have to "wake it up". Not for professional users

Good product. I use it with a chrome box and it works like a charm. Be sure to connect the USB cable so the touch screen is available.

Very good! Cool look too! Very happy! The touch button takes a while to get used to navigating, but otherwise nice! I will buy this again!

This item is not compatible with the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating software in terms of the new initial part of the operating system.

Wow! That's what my friend said after I hooked up this monitor. The picture was very clear and the colors were vibrant. The touchscreen made my experience with Windows 8 so much better. The only downside I have is the stand, it's plastic and looks a bit cheap. Amazing deal for the price!
