Blanket and pillowcases (sold separately) are beautiful, just like the picture when delivered, the color is a warm natural yellow. The duvet closed easily on my duvet. The king size is about a foot from the edge of the mattress, which I v prefer. much overhang; A thick insert makes it lighter so the weight doesn't drag it to the foot of the bed. The three stars are associated with after wash results, the covers have been washed twice and the fringes looked like faux wool after the first wash; Picture the inside of a sturdy kid's denim jacket in any 80's teen movie or a scruffy lamb and you have an idea. I washed them in cold water and dried them on low heat until damp; The fringes can't be fixed, not even with a comb, not that most people want to comb the linens, but I tried. I still like the set but for the price I expect the fringes to wash off nicely.
