Terrible value for money.

I love leggings. I'm a young woman and I value comfort. I've had many leggings of different types and brands, from cheap to expensive. I was very excited when I saw Revain start making their own line of "high-end" women's sportswear. I expected a quality product at a good price with the ease of ordering Revain. I check out the drop when they were on sale for 12 days and ordered a pair. My first impression when opening the packaging was good. They came in a nice resealable ziplock plastic bag. It will be a good wet bag for a gym or beach bag. Nice gesture. When I pulled the leggings out of the chic zip pocket, I immediately noticed that this material is not a high-end leggings material. It is neither soft nor smooth and feels almost hard. I tried them on and overall they are as expected. I'm small in a wide variety of brands and ordered a small one. The shorts fit well, a bit short but that's a common problem for me. For reference, I'm 5ft 6in tall. Even when worn, the material didn't feel that good. Not terrible, but it's not smooth or flattering like many legging materials. and they are not that flexible. I could see that they got really warm in hot weather or when exercising. The actual construction of the leggings is also nothing special. The belt is terrible. It's a high waist which I usually like in leggings, but instead of flattening my stomach or getting rid of the muffins, it just manages the muffins over my body even if they fit and don't cut into my sides. at the top and the material does not flatten or jam. It's not flattering at all. All of these would be points that I would like to miss in cheap leggings. Not the best, not the worst, but in the bottom 50% of leggings I own. Revane must be joking. If you want to charge $65 for a pair of leggings, they have to be good. They have to be breathable. They must be well designed. It should be smooth and have an attractive material. These have none of it. You can get a lot better at Target for half the price (or less). I usually like Revain branded products. I bought various things from clothing to housewares and electronics. I was satisfied with everyone, I felt that I received great value. Are these leggings on the other side? I feel robbed. I'd happily keep them and wear them a few times to see if my opinion changes, but I don't want to risk returning them. or spend the same amount at Nordstrom and buy a much better product. 2020 update: I forgot to return them and ended up taking them to my parents' house out of state as spare pants. Her dog threw up on me before I was even ready to fly home, so I changed very quickly and drove to the airport. Yes, my first impression was correct, they were absolutely awful and uncomfortable. Thank goodness the flight is only 2 hours. These leggings are not breathable, itchy, they fit horribly, just don't. They don't even cost $10. I ended up donating them and can't help but think I spent that much money on them.
