These boots are great. The first time I wore them was on a 6 day trip where we did hiking daily in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. They didn't really require a break in period, my feet never got really sore. They did seem to run a little larger than expected, I am typically a 10.5-11 in women's shoes. I ordered a 10.5 and it was too big, so I stuck with a 10 which still has room for my feet to wiggle and adjust with movement/swelling etc. I encountered a small issue after about 7 months (check out that great warranty!) and the customer service team resolved it quickly! I would recommend these boots to anyone looking for a sturdy hiking boot with a good cushion.
