For the price I think it's a good buy. The finish on the lids is a nice flat black that washes very well and appears fairly scratch resistant. The only issue I had was that the spool mount was about 1/2" shorter so I had to replace it. The replacements were 1/4"-20 x 1.5". Contrary to the previous review "I have flatter Gen IV spools so clearance wasn't an issue and the cap fitted perfectly. Overall I'm happy. There are no instructions, just follow the procedure for regular LS valve caps. Also, the spool cover screws are a 1/4" " 12-point key.
