Review on Kichler 12317WH27 24 Volt Modular Cabinet by Morgan Davis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Kichler Lighting is a good product. The feeling of being taken away belies that it's attractive and a good source of light.

Scam. Some of them are $115 online, I bought mine for $15. Even then it is a divorce. To create a working light you need to buy a cord and power converter for $39-$150, and $39 is basically just a cord with a wide plug. All others require the installation of a fixed cable. A dimmer switch costs $20-$40 but is required to use the light. Maybe it's just me, but these additional purchases/details aren't explained or obvious upfront. At least $74 for an inferior, light and dim 18 inch light. Very slim design and brown/bronze finish that matches my desk. Warm lamp with 6 LED bulbs (not enough for this type of lamp?). The light quality is warm, although not perfect. Apart from the relatively high price (?) and openness problems, I like my Kichler lamp, but I can only give it 3 stars.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
