My wife likes champagne and we have used vintage champagne bottle stoppers for many years and are very happy with them. After checking the rating, it seemed that Cilo would be even more convenient to use. Having used this for a few months now, I can report that it doesn't work as well as the original champagne stoppers with ridges going down the neck of the bottle. The big difference we found was that the Cilo doesn't prevent bubbles from escaping as well as the old design. Cilo will be good for a day or two at most. If you only use it to seal blisters during the day, it will work just fine. The big difference you will notice is that when you open it, there is no "cotton" inside like the old design. We bought a Winco champagne bottle stopper (old design) and it pretty effectively keeps the bubbles 2-3 times longer. Happy wife. happy life. ;-)
