I was concerned that when I made a purchase, like in many Android applications, I would receive an unsightly banner as an advertisement for some sort of gacha mobile game. But in the end, the lock screen advertisement is essentially a promotion for a book or magazine subscription. Therefore, paying too much for a model who hasn't advertised makes little sense. The Kindle Paperwhite continues to be the gold standard for mid-range e-readers in every other respects. Take, and then Kindle.
