I had custom built cabinets installed in my office, but the carpenters didn't make filing cabinet hardware. The drawers were custom sized (slightly larger than letter binders) so the fit was "interesting". I ended up buying them as with a little tweaking they were just what I needed. First, the rails are all metal - they need to be cut with a hacksaw, the same goes for the covers. Also, the plastic pieces that you screw into the wood to hold the rails in place have screws at the top and bottom. Good for stability, but bad if you have drawers like mine that are high enough to hang the file folder. I cut off the top part and just attached the bottom screw. So that was what I needed, but I had to adapt it to my particular box.
