We bought this camera for our shop rather than use our prettier camera for quick real estate photos. The camera takes great pictures and videos. We haven't tested the video yet. The camera handles dark situations relatively well, with mediocre pixelation, but I'm still impressed. I've never figured out how to easily delete bulk photos from the camera on my Macintosh. Cameras seem to be removed one by one. I think I could toss and reset when the camera on my desktop is uploading photos. Still playing with the camera with the time I don't have right now to explore all the cool features. Downloading is instant and similar to most cameras. I also appreciated the use of the SD memory card. You can buy them anywhere. I love the color orange! Exactly what we wanted. Fits nicely in our hands and pockets (a must have for us). We didn't want a big camera. Considering the price I wouldn't be devastated if I saw this camera as a loss and so far I've only been happy with this great little camera. Perfect for our real estate needs. A clean, sharp photo, no overbearing flash. No big "bumps" from white to distinguish detail, but again early on with the camera. Still takes great photos at a good size and I love it. I will also take it with me on private trips. The only thing I'm not interested in is the caption on how to press "Enter or Accept" on the camera. This is not a matter of course for the icons and markings chosen by Canon. It just takes a little getting used to and is not yet a matter of course for me. Still LOVE this camera. Update 09/18/09: The camera still works great. The gap between photos for quick shots gets annoying after a while, but it does the job and takes decent photos. We also use the video part of the camera. Overall, we really liked this camera for our fast business camera. There are many other tweaking features we could use to further improve the quality of our photos that I'm leaving open. I love Canon cameras. Excellent for the price as far as I can tell. (and it's orange! LOL). Please note that I am not a professional but I take decent photos. ;-)update: 6/10: The camera has lost focus and is taking horrible photos. It is finished. LAME! LAME! Two years for point shooting? this is a joke We took great care of this camera. Even if it was an easy fix, I wouldn't invest a penny in it. Things have gone downhill since my September 9, 2009 review, with exposure times taking longer and longer to capture images. I hated that "lightweight" camera. I'd rather say thank you to Digi Rebel than this piece of junk. All the more reason to check out people's fixes. :-) Your love should be cherished in the long term.
