So this monitor looks great! It plays games very well and has excellent color/saturation/brightness etc. HOWEVER I have a few complaints. I ordered this monitor to replace an old Specter that was starting to get streaks on the bottom. When I first ordered it I plugged it in and it looked great. Played some games and enjoyed it. My computer went to sleep while I was in afk and when I went back to wake it up boom, scary lines and a dead pixel appeared. It was the same day I just received it. So I replaced the DP cable to make sure it was a monitor and no, it was indeed a monitor. I ordered a replacement and it arrived the next day. I am currently using this new replacement monitor and when I took it out of the box I still had a few issues. Just in case, I ordered a new DP cable and replaced it early. When I loaded the game it started flickering a bit so I did some research and finally thought it might be NIVIDIA G-Sync. Turned off and the boom will no longer flicker. I also recommend turning the sharpness down as it can make the text look a bit pixelated. Overall this is a great monitor for the price and great for gaming. If you're using it for 144Hz, make sure you have a DisplayPort cable or it won't max out the frame rate. Also, try disabling NIVIDIA G-Sync if you have rear flickering. If you're willing to face some challenges, it's worth buying.
