Just got back from a trip to Italy and Switzerland and have worn them on flights and been there most of the time. Perfect shoe for travel IMO. So easy to put on and take off in airports and airplanes. I also had a pair of Keen sandals with me, thinking I'd wear them most of the time, but ended up wearing clogs for walking and sightseeing - even in shorts and no socks. I climbed the cobblestone steps, walked them for miles on all kinds of surfaces, and I really liked them. The size was just right for me. Excellent arch support and non-slip grip. I really like the cushioning and springy feel (I also ordered a similar, much more expensive pair of wood-based Sandgren clogs, but I like their springy rubber base better). So far they're holding up great. The upper is called PU leather, it's PU coated leather, so not "real" leather. But to me they look like normal skin. They have withstood some abrasion but I believe they can be polished. Now the question is how they wear out over time. I used to have a pair that I bought from Sierra Trading Post and really liked them but quickly fell apart. Got a replacement from STP and the rubber base literally fell apart and large chunks fell out of the heel area after a pair of socks. Maybe STP just had a faulty batch. Anyway, for the $58 I paid for it, I almost feel like I got my money's worth.
