Review on 🚨 Enhanced Kidde Lithium Battery Powered Smoke Detector - Interconnectable Smoke Alarm with Voice Alert and Smoke Detection by Eric Kim

I rarely, if ever, write a negative review about a product because I study the product closely before buying it. For some reason I didn't fully research this product because if I did I would definitely buy it! one block triggers an alarm for all other blocks connected together) since we live in a 5000 square foot house. The blocks are connected to each other by wireless communication. That is good news. The terrible news is that over a two-week period, one or more individual smoke alarms would lose their wireless connection to the "master" smoke alarm, causing the smoke alarm that lost connection to emit an annoying beeping sound every minute ! The only way to turn off the alarm is to go up the stairs and press the button on the unplugged smoke detector! What's even more annoying is that the disconnect seems to happen more frequently between 1:00 and 5:00, which means I have to get out of bed, get the ladder from the garage, climb the stairs, press the button to silence the alarm, and getting back into your bed hoping to get some sleep! I tried putting the master smoke alarm in three different locations to keep it equidistant from the slave smoke alarms. Despite some minor improvements (fewer detector beeps) we still have to reconnect the smoke detectors weekly (which again requires climbing stairs). Times (again between 1:00 and 5:00) for false alarms! The first time, I attributed the false alarm to the dust an open window might kick up. However, after three more alarms from unoccupied rooms with closed doors and windows, it was clear that it wasn't the dust! badly thought out. The smartest thing Kidde could do was take the product off the market, redesign it and offer the new version to existing customers for free.
